Trauma Release Integration A short explanation of Trauma Release Integration When you experience a traumatic event, your brain gets re-wired. Thereafter, any time a situation or thought event triggers you, your mind, body and emotions re-experience the same traumatic feelings and mental turmoil. TRI was developed by Celia Fox based on her work with EMDR and other forms of counseling and energy work. Using alternating sensory stimulation, you will access both halves of the brain. When you’re focused and working on a particular trauma, the brain will then get re-wired.
Pick a trauma, any trauma . . . This is in no way an intellectual process. You will simply relax and answer a few questions on body sensations, thoughts or feelings. This process isn't about judging the experience, only about releasing it. And you can stop the process at any time!
Can you believe how easy this is??? With TRI, you pay attention to your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations while I tap on opposite sides of your body (somewhat like EMDR). That's it. You will be releasing long held beliefs and emotions and in a fraction of the time traditional talk-therapy takes. Not everyone processes in the same way. I am more than happy to let you wail and scream as you release. I am also more than happy to help you let your issues go with laughter. Tears are optional. My intent is that you simply let it go as gracefully as possible.
